Why do you treat multi-unit and single unit properties differently?
Direct™ Property Management Software was built with hotels, hostels, condominiums, and other multi-unit properties in mind, and with the understanding that you shouldn’t have to recreate property details every time you create a new unit for a multi-unit property. Nor should you have to do the same for any identical (or nearly identical) units you have within that property, like hotel rooms or condominiums. To this end, Direct™ makes it easy to clone these details, dramatically reducing the need for time-consuming data duplication.
How do I add reservations?
Reservations taken on your site(s) are automatically created when a guest books or requests to book a property. These can be managed from your dashboard’s comprehensive reservations manager. Reservations can also easily be added manually. All you need is the guest’s listing of choice, contact information, and optional credit card information. You can also import your reservations in bulk via .csv file in order to save time (coming soon).
What other technology do you integrate with?
We integrate with Homeaway, Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com, Flipkey, TripAdvisor, Vaystays, Google Analytics, and Stripe. We’re already working hard to develop more integrations with other key partners, so you can get more done with Direct™.
How does the implementation process work?
That depends on how you want to handle it. If you prefer to create your website and list your properties yourself, then by all means – our software platform is intuitive enough for anyone to be able to build a brand and website on Direct™. If you require some help in getting your website and properties up and online, we are always here to help. Specifically, we can set up your new website for you and import your properties in bulk via .csv file (coming soon) in order to save you even more time.
Is Direct™ accessible on mobile devices?
Yes! Our entire software suite is fully responsive and features a mobile-first design. This is so that you can manage your business on the go, and switch devices to pick up right where you left off. What other services/ products do I need to run your platform?
The internet and a computer, smartphone, or tablet. That’s it. Since our software is cloud-based, there's no need to download anything, either.
Do I need to download software?
No, our software is cloud-based. All you need to do is sign up and log in.
What happens if my internet goes down?
No need to worry – your website will remain online and accessible by your guests, no matter what, and your backend tools will continue to track and save incoming reservations. Your website and suite of tools will always be accessible to you whenever you have an internet connection.
Can I manage all my reservations on Direct™ Property Management Software?
Every single one. Our reservations manager makes it easy to keep track of incoming bookings and requests to book, as well as adding new reservations manually. Your Stripe account ensures that you can easily keep track of your money every step of the way.
Can I accept instant bookings and bookings by request?
Yes. You always have control over whether a property accepts instant bookings, bookings by request, or both. And with bookings by request, you have the option to set up custom deposits so that your business is always protected.
Can I set my own cancellation policies?
Yes. When creating each property or unit, you can use one of our preset cancellation policies, or create a custom policy of your choosing.
How do I add my properties?
With Direct™, you can get your properties listed and accepting bookings in minutes. Simply navigate to ‘Properties’ in your dashboard’s main menu, and start adding in your property details. Our customer service team can also easily export property images from your current hosting solution and import them into your listings in order to save you time.
How do I add pricing to my property?
You must create a listing for that property in order to do so. Creating a listing means that a bookable web page will be created for this property or unit, and adding pricing and availability is an essential step.

You can easily change your site colors and fonts, add your own logos, and custom content, from SEO-optimized landing pages to promotional pages. Plus, you can even add your own custom code.
What if Stripe doesn’t support my location?
We will personally collect and deposit funds into your account for you, until such time as Stripe supports your location.
How do I get paid?
When you set up your Stripe account, any payments made through your website will be deposited directly into your account.

Can I set up multiple websites?
Yes. You can create and host as many websites as you’d like on Direct™ Property Management Software, free of charge. There’s no need to make a new account or organization for each, either – all can be hosted under the same business account.
What is the difference between multi-unit and single-unit properties?
We consider a unit to be the bookable space within any property. Single-unit properties are any properties in which you have a single bookable unit, be it a house, a villa, or a condo. Multi-unit properties are, by nature, a little more complex. These are typically hotel, hostel, condominium, and apartment buildings, or any other space that offers multiple bookable units.
